We always watch a lot of animals around us, such as sparrow crow, and we do not know many things about them. We also tell many tales, stories to our children about the sparrow, crow but do we really know about them? We don't know many innovative and amazing things of these birds. So today we will let us know about some of the daily visible birds.

Here are some interesting facts about Sparrows

Sparrow is a bird which s found everywhere and even in many ordinary places. This bird likes to live with humans. Even you would have observed this bird always build its nest in house and makes noise throughout the house.  Sparrow makes s their nest above the window or in the shelves or in any corner, their nest will be found in any wonderful places. Even I have seen the nest in the curtains. We have seen these sparrows always in many pairs. Their body color is fair; color of the back is mixed brown and dark brown. The front color is white. Male sparrow has a black spot on the neck.  Female sparrow lays eggs three at a time or sometimes four eggs. The color of eggs is greenish white.

 

Understanding Crows Behavior and Characteristics

Crow is the bird which is very famous by the tale ‘“thirsty crow”. Jokes apart this is the bird which is known to everyone and found almost all over the world. This bird likes to be around the human. There are two types of crows- normal domestic crow and wild crow.

Domestic crow is black and neck is grey in color whereas the wild crow is slightly bigger than domestic crow and completely black in color.

The crow eats all kind of things but likes the things which human eats. So crow always found nearby the houses or courtyard throughout the day. Normally, crow spends the night with his other fellow crows on the tress, but as the sun rises, he comes back on his previous place.

 Crow is very intelligent, clever and cunning bird. It is the an expert in carrying all kinds of thing then that things may be food items, shiny jewelry, soap or the food items which housewives keep for drying in the sun. and when the crow realize the  carried thing is not edible crow throws it away so some people call crow as a thief also. 

The crow can sense if any danger is going to happen. As soon as crow gets doubt about something it starts to caw and informs others.

Crow build the nest I tall trees. To prepare the nest the crow uses many branches, fibers, feathers and sometimes uses small pieces of wire.

 Typically the female crow lays between 4-5 eggs in one clutch. The eggs are pale blue in color. Both the male and female take care of eggs and also young ones.

 

Native Myna: A Closer Look and  Characteristics of Native Myna

Native myna is one more bird which you have seen many times. I know this bird from childhood. This bird is really closer to my childhood memories. My grandma use to say that if you see these birds I the pairs it is lucky… and interesting thing is that whenever I use to see these bird alone I used to looking for another one.  And another thing I would like to share about this is when we use to see this bird in the pair we used to say” two for joy”.

So let us see some more information about this bird

Myna is a dark brown in color with a white mark on it wings. The color of beak is bright yellow and there is a circular yellow mark on the eyes.

Myna eat fruits, grains, insects and kitchen waste. It always eats spittles on the cow and buffalo. When the farmer plows, myna follows him whatever insects emerges from the soil Myna jumps on it and relishes it.

Myna builds its nest in the hollow trunk of a tress or wall of the old buildings. Or any corners of buildings or houses Myna finds to build a nest. Myna’s nest is made of roots, paper, fibers, threads and cotton. Myna lays 4-5 eggs at a time. Both male and female birds incubate eggs and also take care of young ones.

 One amazing fact about Myna is that if at all Myna be nourished from childhood it can speak as if repeating our words.

It makes its nest in the hollow trunk of a tree or a wall of the old building. Its nest is made of roots, paper, fibers and cotton. Female Myna lays four or five blue eggs at a time, both male and female incubate eggs and also take care of children. Myna is sometimes caught in childhood and she is nourished, Myna can speak as if repeating our words.
