Day is celebrated in India annually on 15th August. It is a public holiday in India. This public
holiday in India is commemorating the nation’s independence from the United
Kingdom on 15th August 1947. This day remarkable reminds the
sacrifice and courage of all freedom fighters took to free our nation from
British coloniasm. On this day we all Indian people pay tribute to those freedom
fighters who laid down their lives for sake of the motherland. The day is
celebrated with flag hosting, parades and other cultural activities. All the schools,
colleges and other institutes celebrate the day in different ways and with enthusiasm.
Students perform different dance performance, acts, plays and songs related to patriotism.
Students and all people can show their patriotism towards our nation. Independence
day remind us spirit of nationalism and contribute to the enlargement and development
of our beloved country.
