think his cat was playing with? What was it really?
Answers: Patrick
thought that his cat was playing with a little doll. But the actually it wasn’t
a doll; it was a man of the tiniest size. In reality it was an elf.
2. Why did
the little man grant Patrick a wish?
Answer:
Patrick found that his cat was playing with a man of tiniest size, which is an
elf. First Patrick to surprise then he saved the tiniest man that is elf from the
cat. Elf too pleaded him to save him from cat. And also asked promise to not to
give him back to the cat. On behalf of this the little man granted Patrick a
wish.
3. What was
the Patrick’s wish?
Answer:
Patrick saved the elf from the cat. So the elf granted him a wish. As Patrick always
feels boring to do homework, he wished the elf to do all his homework for 35
days, until the end of the semester.
4. In what
subjects did the little man need help, to do Patrick’s homework?
Answer: The
little man needed Patrick’s help in English, maths and history.
In English he didn’t know the word, he asked for
dictionary. In maths Patrick was helping him in doing addition, subtraction,
division and fractions. Elf didn’t know anything about history so asked Patrick
to bring more and more books from library also asked Patrick to read the books
for elf.
5. How did Patrick
help him?
Answer: Patrick
helped him in by giving dictionary for English. Guiding him in mathematics by
doing sums of mathematics, Bringing books from library, reading them, staying
up nights to help elf. Thus Patrick was working harder every day.
6. Who do
you think did Patrick’s homework—the little man Or Patrick himself? Give
reasons for your answer.
Answer: Patrick
himself did his homework.. Patrick wished elf to do his homework, but he was
unaware abut that elf did not know anything in English, maths and history. So elf
continuously asked Patrick to help in study. While guiding and helping elf, Patrick
started studying he stayed up nights to read book. He worked hard. Therefore it
was Patrick who did the homework.
