Books are our true friends. We get pleasure in the company of these friends. They never deceive, complain, fight or betray us. They are our constant companions as they support us in ups and downs in our life. They give us courage to fight with any kind of situation. We can get moral support by reading good books. They cheer us in all kinds of situations.
When we read books, we are in the company of the best and the noblest minds. They are so powerful that they can change readers view entirely. Great books can free us from our tension and worries. They sharpen our minds and helps to fill positivity in our minds. They develop our personality . We realise new aspects of life.
Books not only change our mindset view but they are treasure of knowledge. Reading about great people,other places or any topic will obviously enhance your knowledge. And reader will get help to face any challenges in his or her own life.
We can say books are tailor of the world. So reading books gives you a glimpse of the world.
Few from present generations enjoy reading. But the curriculum in schools and colleges is so heavy that young generation cannot develop habit of reading . They develop a natural dislike for books. So habit of reading is fast on the wane. But they should realise that reading of good books enrich the mind by providing it with good knowledge. Like friends, we should have books to help us in our academics, to guide us in trouble, to inspire us in our life and also to entertain us in boredom.
A good book is the best friend, philosopher and guide to all those who read it. The most important thing is that books collect and compile ideas that remain with us through generations.
As we know ' A man is known by the company he keeps'. Then why shouldn't we keep the best company? And who is better than philosophers, writers poets and thinkers?
