Kaushal
Empire, a powerful empire situated on the banks of river Sharayu. Palaces and
beautiful waterfalls. This empire was built by the Suryavanshi kings. Ayodhya,
the capital of Kaushal, built this city by The King Ikshvahu who was the first
son of King Manu After Maharaj Raghu, Maharaj Dashrath sat on the throne of
Kaushal. Maharaj Dashrath ruled a capable, intelligent and efficient state. But
the entire Aayodhya kingdom was unhappy as the king Dashrath was a childless.
One day Maharaj
Dashrath was engrossed in conversation with his three queens Kaushalya, kaikeyi
and Sumitra, at the same time King Maharishi Vashishtha advised him, O king,
organize the Kameshthi Yagya from the hands of Munivar Rishi Shring to obtain
son. You will definitely
blessed by a son from this Yagya. The Yagya was organized as per the suggestion
of Rajmaharshi. From the sacred fire, a deity appeared with a golden urn in his
hands. O king, your Yagya was successful. This sacred Yagya was successful.
give this prasad to your queens. King Dasharath gave the Prasad to Kaushalya by
saying , Devi this is a gift, half of it you eat , and the rest is distributed
among Sumitraand Kaikeyi. And the Kaushalya had half of the Prasad and
remaining Prasad was consumed by queens Kaikeyi and Sumitra.snd after some
months the god gift was worked. And one day the palace echoed with the cries of
the king's son.Queen Kaisalya gave birth to Sriram and Queen Kaikeyi gave birth
to Kumar Bharat and Queen Sumitra gave birth to twins Lakshaman and Shatrughn. King
Dasharatha was very happy. There was no limit to Maharaj's happiness.the entire Aayodhya was drowned in joy. Thus this is how Shri
Ram Taken birth on the earth.
